Bayley wanted to arrange a deserved celebration for IYO to celebrate her Fastlane victory over Charlotte and Asuka. Instead, Zelina Vega got in Bayley's face so a match between them was made. Bayley took it to Vega. Dakota and IYO even tried to lend Bayley a hand per The Freebird Rules. Not to be confused with The Freebird Rule, these are obscure rules even most officials aren't aware of. Don't ask questions. Just go with it, okay? IYO felt a 619 in the process. But her sacrifice gave Bayley a chance to Rose Plant Vega and score herself a long-needed victory.

IYO didn't take kindly to Vega attacking her, joining Bayley in giving a deserved post-match beatdown. Since there was a championship present, Charlotte ran down to pretend to come to Vega's aid. Damage CTRL took a leave so Charlotte couldn't thieve the title. Later on, new SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis gifted Charlotte a championship match on the October 20, 2023 episode of SmackDown. His reasoning was because Bayley distracted the referee while Asuka was tapping to Charlotte, paving way for IYO to win. I already don't like Idiot Magnus.

Charlotte and Aldis should point their fingers at the referee who chose to be distracted during a no disqualification match where he had no business being so. It should be a wait in line for Charlotte so of course, she connives another title match for herself. Someone needs to tell the so-called queen to cut the shit.

The Ladies appeared on The SmackDown LowDown to address matters. Bayley was furious that the celebration Dakota and her had planned for IYO didn't happen. Not only was it to celebrate her Fastlane victory, it was more importantly to show IYO how much she means to Dakota and Bayley. Awwww. Bayley placed the blame on Charlotte so logic says it was going to be a post-match surprise. Dakota calmed Bayley down, telling her that it's okay the celebration didn't occur on SmackDown because IYO and her already know she always has their backs.

Our Captain would go on to put a positive perspective on next week's championship match. She said there was good to come from it, in the form of IYO again pinning Charlotte to retain the title proving she's the best in the freakin' world. I will admit, even though I have no doubts IYO can defeat Charlotte, I was too caught up in Charlotte Rage to look at the match as the positive it truly is for IYO and therefore all of Damage CTRL. Our Captain is wise and has opened my eyes. Bayley admitted Dakota is right... she's always right. Damn right.
