December 1, 2023. Brooklyn, New York. Barclays Center. SmackDown. That Entitled Brat Bianca Belair demanded "her title" back. She's been hanging around Charlotte too much. Our Captain Dakota Kai wasn't having any of that entitled crap nor the disrespect of the foul smelling Brooklyn crowd. The Captain told Bianca that if she wants another shot at the WWE Women's Championship, she's going to have to go through all of Damage CTRL. Go figure, Charlotte hears title match and struts on down to make her own demand with her pet Shotzi in tow.
Charlotte, Shotzi and Bianca attacked IYO SKY, Asuka and Kairi Sane. Dakota luckily made it to safety because you know Bianca, Charlotte and Shotzi would have attacked her "by mistake". The enemies of The Ladies cleared the ring. If only someone had come to the aid of her Sisters in Damage when they needed her... where the hell was the so-called leader Bayley? Well, Bayley was still holding her self-pity party, making an excuse as she usually does. IYO rightfully asked her where the heck she was. Now, that my fellow Damage CTRL fans is a true leader.
Dakota calmed the tension, suggesting that Kairi would appreciate Bayley's advice for her match against Bianca. Our Captain granting Bayley this honor by allowing her to contribute shows why she's The Captain. I'm not sure if Kairi, Asuka and IYO truly wanted Bayley's advice but Kairi sailed this tide. Dakota asked Bayley if they were cool and Bayley claimed they were.
Bayley showed up late to Gorilla as Damage CTRL were about to make their entrance. Dakota asked Bayley if she's okay because Bayley didn't seem herself. I wish I could be as compassionate as The Captain. IYO ordered Bayley to stay backstage because she knows from experience that more times than not Bayley's interference backfires, costing Damage CTRL wins. Not sure if Dakota agreed or disagreed with IYO's call. Anyway, the referee decided to eject everyone from ringside during the course of the match.
Go figure that Bayley would once again defy the orders of her champion. Bayley pulled Bianca by her braid, tripping her on the apron when the referee was checking on Kairi. Yes, Bayley actually did good. But just like at WarGames, the good was followed by the typical bad. At WarGames it was taking a spear over attacking Charlotte and going for the win. Here it was Bayley feeding her own ego to let Kairi know it was her who helped her followed by forcing a high-five on The Pirate Princess. That gave Bianca time to recover and pick up a win over Kairi.
