Bayley bragged about how she's made Damage CTRL the most dominant faction in history and everyday they get closer to her goal. That's a laugh because her goal has always been her putting herself above others whom she uses to benefit only herself. There's no proof that's changed; thankfully her snake oil sales are dwindling. Bayley claimed she's always known IYO SKY was destined to become WWE Women's Champion. Leave it to Bayley to leave out her selfishness toward IYO. The Genius of the SKY reminded all it's her era and she's the most dominant champion in WWE.
To no surprise Bayley took all the credit for Asuka defeating Charlotte, leaving out how it was actually Asuka's savvy that did that after Bayley nearly crashed into her. Kairi Sane and Asuka stated the victory over Charlotte is a warning that no one is ready for Damage CTRL. Our Captain Dakota Kai spoke like a true oracle that it's time for Damage CTRL to raise the bar and change the game. Bayley agreed, stating Dakota spoke like a true mastermind. Our Captain knowingly smiled because like even Bayley herself once admitted: Dakota Kai Is Always Right.
Bayley stated it was time for Damage CTRL to hold all the gold. She firstly said Asuka and Kairi would win the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles. Bayley finished, predictably talking about herself. She vowed to win the 2024 Women's Royal Rumble and take Rhea Ripley's Women's World Championship, making her dream a reality. Dakota, Asuka, Kairi and IYO had a good laugh. As did all of us. About how funny a Sitcom Buddies Asuka and Bayley show could be.
December 15, 2023. Green Bay, Wisconsin. Resch Center. SmackDown. Dakota Kai was present at ringside to watch Asuka and Kairi Sane battle Michin and Zelina Vega in a tag match. Commentary credited Dakota Kai as the glue who has held Damage CTRL together. She's shown true leadership qualities, unlike Bayley. Our Captain displayed such, providing the moral support that allowed Bayley to push Michin off the top rope, securing Kairi and Asuka the win.
What was said before the match reminded me of two different stories. The story in which the holidays bring people together and let bygones be bygones. A Story of Forgiveness. That brings me to the second. In this story, a selfish person finally gets their comeuppance after those they wronged do to that selfish person what the selfish person did to them. The selfish person has become so bigheaded they actually think they are in control even when they are the one actually being controlled. A Story of Justice. This is a good place to wrap this entry.
