WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY, Asuka, Kairi Sane and Bayley faced "The Entitled Bandits" Bianca Belair, Michin, Zelina Vega and Shotzi in a Holiday Havoc Match. What is a Holiday Havoc Match? Just your usual spruced up street fight with some holiday plunder including Candy Canes. Our Captain Dakota Kai was at ringside wearing a Bayley shirt, providing moral support and guiding traffic per usual for her ladies.
Damage CTRL brought plenty of helliday cheer to the wretched bandits. In the early going, IYO and Bayley iced Bianca and Shotzi onto the ringside floor using a table clothesline style. Dakota and them rejoiced, doing a superior rendition of The Rockettes dance. Michin and Zelina weren't left out because this is the season of giving. They got candy caned by Kairi and Asuka. The treats rolled on with Kairi snatching pirate booty in the form of a trash can lid. Kairi spinning back fisted it, nearly decapitating Shotzi then tossed her into O Christmas Tree.
Zelina got a pumpkin pie smashed in her face courtesy of Dakota in what was the best part of the match. Asuka kindly washed Zelina down with some mist to the face. Zelina is now both a sticky and wet bandit. Back in the ring, Bayley had Bianca down and a table. Kairi and Asuka went over to crate-shaped presents to grab more plunder, but instead found Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn who took them out of play. The witches will pay for sticking their crinkled, warty noses in Damage CTRL business. The Ladies are the wrong bunch to cross just to remind the tag division you're a threat.
The grinchy witches were a bad omen because things only got worse for Damage CTRL. Bayley again felt that familiar feeling of The KOD. IYO briefly saved the day for The Ladies, hitting Belair with Over the Moonsault. Sadly, Michin struck SKY with Eat Defeat followed by a senton off the top rope through the table to score a victory for The Entitled Bandits. The loss for Damage CTRL was unfortunate, however they fought like a well-oiled unit. It even felt like Bayley was being warmed up to again by Dakota and company, however time will tell where that all stands.
Damage CTRL will begin 2024 with IYO defending the WWE Women's Title against Michin at SmackDown: New Year's Revolution on January 5th. Asuka & Kairi are on the hunt for the women's tag titles. The Year 2023 was a long, winding road for Dakota Kai. She found herself on the sidelines since May due to an injury, however is expected to be cleared to return to action in 2024. When exactly remains to be seen. What is certain is heads will lop and roll because The Captain of Team Kick will kick them all off as she leads Damage CTRL to dominance over all of WWE.
