The result was a Royal Rumble victory for Damage CTRL. But don't think this was a victory for Bayley because it wasn't. Coming in at an early #3, she was merely Dakota Kai's instrument to secure a Royal Rumble victory for Damage CTRL. Bayley even eliminated Pain in the Rear Belair from the match, hopefully putting an end to the never-ending feud between Bianca and Damage CTRL.

Dakota told Bayley to remember that the Rumble is every woman for herself. But being the gracious leader she is, Dakota still sent Asuka and Kairi Sane in to lend a helping hand. How did Bayley react to Asuka coming in at #7? Ungrateful. Bayley yelled like a petulant child that this was supposed to be her night and her night only. Nevertheless, Bayley still worked together with Asuka. Kairi came in at #11 and even Bayley couldn't be upset because everyone loves The Pirate Princess. Bayley, Kairi and Asuka eliminated that pestersome pixie Candice LeRae.

Kairi and Asuka got eliminated looking out for the team, angering Bayley who scolded them shouting that she thought them and her had a plan. Yeah, the same Bayley whom earlier in the match whined about Asuka "stealing her spotlight". There is no making Bayley happy, is there? Anyway, it came down to Bayley and the returning Liv Morgan who eliminated Bayley last year. This time, Bayley returned the favor to secure Damage CTRL the victory. All thanks to the inspiration and encouragement from the sagely Dakota Kai.

Bayley's better WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY and Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley were watching via backstage screens. By winning the Royal Rumble, Bayley can have a women's championship match at WrestleMania. Bayley previously made it clear she wants to face Rhea Ripley. But first, I think we all know Bayley has another reward coming her way. The type a selfish egomaniac like her deserves.
