October 3rd 2022. The Xcel Energy Center in St Paul, Minnesota. Monday Night RAW. This is the week Damage CTRL will take another step closer to assuming total, complete control over the Women's Division. This Saturday at Extreme Rules, Bayley will cut the loom of Bianca Belair's reign as RAW Women's Champion in a Ladder Match. Last Friday on SmackDown, Bayley tanked care of some business defeating Shotzi. Belair decided to once again stick her nose where it doesn't belong and stop Bayley from promoting their ladder match.

Dakota Kai was game to have a Premium Live Event worthy match of her own as she laid out a challenge to the returning Candice LeRae last week. Our Captain proved she was no coward standing up to The Poison Pixie and outright challenging her. These two have quite the history dating back to 2015. They have been friends, bitter enemies, allies and now rivals. Whether they reach bitter enemies point again remains to be seen. You know, I like the Garganos. But my loyalty is to Our Captain Dakota Kai. So yes, I'm storing my Candice Wrestling fan card away.

Candice was wished luck by her new friends, Team EST. But she choose to go to the ring on her own. That takes some balls when you know Bayley and IYO SKY will accompany Dakota because family sticks together. Okay, sorry I have to be honest: It was stupid for Candice to come out alone. It sort of pains me to say that about Candice but it's the brutal truth. She has no one to blame but herself if Bayley or IYO get emotionally charged for a fight. She choose to go alone.

In the early going, Candice controlled the flow with pin attempts followed by an armbar. It was not established which armbar it was. Let's go with the Saskatchewan Armbar. Dakota would break free smashing Candice back first into the turnbuckles. She went for the Kaio-Kick early and Candice evaded, taking Kai to the canvas with a perfectly executed necksnap. She went for a jacknife pin but Kai kicked out.

Candice basement dropkicked Kai to the apron where Dakota tried for a pump kick. The Poison Pixie evaded and smashed Kai into the top turnbuckle. Candice went for a tope between the ropes but Dakota was out of the way before Candice could even fly. Unfortunately, Kai could not get in a moment of respite as Candice slid through the ropes with a dropkick followed by an apron springboard crossbody. During the commercial break, Kai took control. It continued with her laying out Candice with a pump kick. She went for a pin but Candice kicked out.

Dakota worked Candice over with Kawada kicks, even taking a moment to rub some pixie poison off her boots. She asked Candice to bring it, looking for more of a fight, and Candice did. But Kai quickly extinguished her comeback fire with the scorpion kick. Kai went for the Kaio-Kick a second time only to receive a springboard enzuigiri. Candice pummeled Kai into the corner with strikes and chops. She followed that up with a snapmare and senton for a two count on a cover. Kai looked to mount a comeback but Candice headscissored her into an octopus hold.

Candice would find herself again smashed against the turnbuckles by Kai ending the submission attempt. Dakota would add in a kick to forcefully remove Candice's foot from her neck. Kai charged Candice who grounded her with a boot to the face. Candice climbed to the top rope where Kai cut her off with her insane leaping Kaio-Kick. Dakota wanted a superplex but Candice would fight her way free. With Kai trying to stay afoot on the middle rope, Candice charged up to the bottom rope and delivered a German suplex that brought both down to the canvas in a heap.

This is where Our Captain and her friends decided to school Candice in the way things just are these days. They were merely doing to Candice what The Way once did to their opponents. Honestly, most their opponents once upon a time did awful things and are now seeing how it feels. To me, Damage CTRL is just delivering a well-deserved dose of justice.

IYO distracted the referee while Bayley gave Candice a free trip as she executed the Lionsault. Dakota rolled Candice up and pressed her body on top her to score the clean pinfall victory. Yes, it was clean. There was no pull of the tights or rope assist. Put aside the interference that I'd argue Candice asked for, Our Captain fought her heart out. Poison got kicked and it was a hard-fought match. That is what people will remember.

Sarah Schreiber caught up with Damage CTRL to finally admit she realizes why Bayley would want ass-kicking machines Dakota and IYO on her side. Bayley was insulted but not shocked that Sarah only now grasped it. Since Bianca showed guts to accept the ladder match, Bayley decided to have SKY and Kai stay backstage during the contract signing between Belair and her.

Bayley laid out some hard, honest truths during the contract signing about why she went from a nice girl to a bad girl. Bianca accused Bayley of always being an awful person who just became who she really is. I call Bianca's take BS. Bayley was a good soul who did what she felt she had to do and it brought her the most success she's ever had. Brooklyn was historic but now she's become legendary. She was selfless to give Dakota and IYO the main roster opportunity nobody else ever would have.

Once the contract was signed, Damage CTRL were ready to depart for a well-earned dinner. Dakota and IYO attacked Asuka and Alexa Bliss who no doubt would have attacked them first. Alexa assumed IYO wearing ring gear meant she wanted to have a match. Silly rabbit, don't assume anything. But IYO is not a coward and thus would not turn down a fight so she accepted. Asuka was too banged up during the attack so only Bianca would accompany Bliss to the ring. IYO brought both Dakota and Bayley with her because neither was banged up. Dakota and Bayley would offer support to IYO as she took on Bliss in a hard-hitting evenly fought match.

Damage CTRL's attack put more hunger into Alexa. Bliss should be grateful. Bayley crawled onto the apron to shout support to IYO after Bliss hit Twisted Bliss. Bianca attacked Bayley. Dakota came to her rescue and Bianca was tossed into the steps by them. Bliss took her eyes off her opponent to sommersault senton Kai and Bayley. IYO was focused only on Bliss, cutting her off at the top rope with a Shotei.

SKY Crash. Over the Moonsault. IYO SKY covered Alexa Bliss to score the hard-fought pinfall victory. But Damage CTRL weren't done. Our favorite ladies had to send a violent message. That justice I spoke of had to be served. Bianca had to be on her own for Saturday. The EST thought she carried the division on her back this last year. Now she can literally try to carry herself to a victory. If she's even healed up by Saturday after what was to come.

Dakota and IYO smacked Bianca in a heap with a ladder. Asuka tried to come to the rescue only to get beat down. Alexa won't ever dare to this is your life someone again after that pump kick sandwich Dakota and IYO gave her. Our Captain nearly sent Bianca's head to Illinois with a Kaio-Kick. Their work for the night was done. Damage CTRL closed the show, climbing the ladder with Kai and SKY on the rungs holding the WWE Women's Tag Titles and Bayley standing on top holding the RAW Women's Title -- just as she will at Extreme Rules. Damage CTRL will soon have the whole world in their hands.
