The previous month at MCW Fight to Survive, Evie picked up a so-called controversial win over Kellie Skater. To prove who truly was the best between the two, they would meet again, this time in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match. Evie let the hostile crowd know what she thought of them with a thumbs down. Skater and her butted heads and traded forearms to begin the first fall. Skater who told fans on Twitter to come see her kick a Kiwi caught a kick and reversed it into a jackknife cover for a one. Evie rolled to the outside to regroup but Skater didn't give her much room to breath, striking her with three knife edge chops WALTER would approve of. Skater rolled Evie back into the ring and turned her inside-out with two dropkicks. Evie turned the tide to her favor catching Skater in wheelbarrow position, dropping her throat first on the top rope. She slid through the ropes to the apron and there waffled Skater with a roundhouse kick to the head.
Evie continued to deliver pain, slamming Skater's head into three of the top turnbuckles. Skater blocked the fourth attempt, instead slamming Eve's head. Evie ducked a chop and boot choked Skater in the corner. Skater caught another kick from Evie turning her around in a crab. Evie swiftly crawled to the rope forcing the break. Skater grabbed Evie up, however the Kiwi countered with a jawbreaker. Evie stacked Skater for a pinfall attempt but she kicked out. The crowd heckled Evie who shot them a couple looks in return. Evie's focus went back to Skater, boot raking her in the corner a few times followed by the running face wash. Skater took control turning her La Magistral into a cross armbreaker. Evie flawlessly reversed Skater's submission hold into a painful one of her own. Skater tried to break the hold sending Evie into a frenzy of vicious forearms to the back. Skater kicked Evie off as she charged her in the corner. She slid between the ropes to the apron and sunset flipped back in, however Evie countered it to her favor with a friendly assist from the rope to score the pinfall and first fall.
The second fall began with both women trading violent chops and kicks. Evie blocked a kick from Skater and motioned to deliver a kick of her own, only to instead eye gouge the Aussie. She laughed at her trickery. Evie stayed in control choking Skater who was draped over the second rope. Skater fought her way back hitting Evie with a springboard back elbow. Skater delivered a few kicks to Evie's chest followed by a snapmare and legdrop pin combo. Evie barely kicked out. Skater applied the Achilles lock hooking Evie's leg, forcing her to immediately tap in order to avoid injury. The second fall went to Skater. Evie started the third fall charging at Skater to show that her leg was fine but got dropkicked up-and-over to the corner. Skater struck Evie with a brutal running kick to the chest but couldn't keep her down for a three. Evie perfectly blocked Skater's fisherman suplex, driving her into her knee with a uranage backbreaker.
Evie kept Skater on the canvas striking her with a running sliding superkick. She ascended to the top rope and came crashing down with Coup-de-Evie, however Skater evaded. Skater fired back waffling Evie with a roundhouse kick to the head. Evie slumped to the mat in a heap yet managed to kick out of Skater's cover before the referee slapped the mat a third time. The Kiwi ducked a superkick from the Aussie and in turn waffled her with a roundhouse kick to the head. Skater evaded the charging Yakuza kick, retaliating with a brutal superkick. Evie slumped over the bottom rope during her collapse, her head spiking into the elevated entrance ramp.
Not even aware where she was after that spike, Evie aimlessly crawled toward the entrance curtain. Skater chased after her but Evie kicked her off. Skater got to her feet quick, efforting to drag Evie back to the ring. Evie managed to break free with a desperation enziguri. The referee was at ten and the third fall was thrown out resulting in the match being declared a draw. One of the commentators scolded Evie, claiming she knew she couldn't win so she purposely caused the double countout to ensure Skater couldn't win either. Evie being completely knocked out of her mind yet still having the instinctive ingenuity for such a masterful stroke deserves applause not scolding. Skater would disagree but this reCap is part of The Tale of Evie not The Tale of Kellie Skater so pardon my spin...uh bias...I mean honesty.
Skater demanded five more minutes to have a proper finish. Evie grabbed a microphone and announced she wouldn't give her or anyone in the godforsaken audience five more minutes. She reminded Skater that she didn't even have to give her this re-rematch, however did so to appease management so they would stop pestering her about wanting the best female wrestler in the world back in MCW. I'd say Evie chose to be The Captain of Benevolence. Evie insisted she'll always one-up Skater in the ring whether she likes it or not. Skater fired back that since Evie doesn't want to stay in the ring with her, she will ask management for a birthday gift at the Clash of the Titans event. That gift will be to grant her a no holds barred Falls Count Anywhere Match against Evie to settle their beef. Evie nodded she was fine with that.
