Melbourne City Wrestling had become Evie's home away from home. She had earned the respect and adoration of the fans. However, she gained a new rival in Kellyanne. Their heated rivalry that had been going on over a year at this point would culminate in a Last Woman Standing Match at MCW Final Battle 2016. No pins or submissions and anything goes. When someone is down the referee starts a ten count. If you get up you continue. But if you don't you lose.

Evie couldn't even make a full entrance getting whacked in the face with a steel chair as she posed on the apron. Kellyanne pulled a table out from under the ring and set it up in the corner. The action spilled to the floor with Evie trying to whack Kellyanne with the steel chair. Kellyanne ducked the swing and battered Evie into the side of the ring. Evie came back striking Kellyanne with both a sliding knee and running PK from the apron.

Kellyanne got up only to fall back down after Evie whacked the chair across her face. Evie set the chair up and smashed Kellyanne's face onto it. She followed it with an ax kick and snap-of-a-kick while Kellyanne's head was stuck in the chair. But she wasn't done. With Kellyanne's head still stuck in the chair, Evie figuratively kicked it off with a running PK. Kellyanne slumped off the chair after the PK as referee Edwin Lay started his ten count. She managed to get to her feet but Evie was right there to toss her over the barrier.

After delivering a vertical suplex to Kellyanne in the crowd, Evie climbed onto a ledge and leaped at her opponent. Kellyanne caught her though, powerbombing her against the wall. Evie's skull and back hit hard and she crashed to the ground. Kellyanne continued her violent assault pressing Evie against the wall and delivering a loud, nasty knife edge chop to her chest. It got worse for Evie as Kellyanne lifted her up in wheelbarrow position and swung her skull first into the wall. Evie struggled to her feet until Kellyanne broke the count, pulling Evie up.

Kellyanne sat Evie on a chair and struck her chest with another loud knife edge chop. She took off running, hurling herself at Evie -- who was still on the chair -- to hit a cannonball. The referee started the ten count on Evie as Kellyanne pulled another table out of the maintenance closet. She set it up after delivering some blows to Evie to try and keep her down. But Evie got up surprising Kellyanne with a uranage backbreaker into a chair. Evie pulled Kellyanne to her feet and hauled her up a flight of stairs.

Evie wore a sadistic smile Irish whipping Kellyanne toward the railing, intent on sending her over it for quite a drop. Kellyanne countered with three forearm smashes. Evie was barely fazed, that only pissed her off. She retaliated with three forearm smashes of her own. Kellyanne caught a kick and set Evie up for a powerbomb over the rail. Evie desperately grabbed onto a higher rail to break free. She climbed up to the ledge thinking she was safe, only for Kellyanne to dangle her in a chokehold from the ledge.

The Kiwi was choked out and dropped. Evie fell hard a few feet to the top of the steps. If she had been a few inches to the right it would have been the theater floor, a much longer fall. After Evie got to her feet to break the ten count, Kellyanne Irish whipped her over the rail. Evie was barely able to grasp onto the rail to avoid falling to Hell. She struggled to hang on a second time after Kellyanne delivered a brutal forearm smash. Kellyanne tried to stomp Evie's hand off the rail to no avail.

Kellyanne climbed over the rail to meet Evie on the ledge for a forearm smash and chop party. One brutal smash nearly broke Evie's grip of the rail. She fired back waffling Kellyanne with a roundhouse kick to the back, breaking Kellyanne grip on the rail. Kellyanne dropped a few feet crashing through the table. She managed to her feet at the nine count. In a most spectacular moment, Evie climbed to the top of the rail and flew off, taking down Kellyanne with a crossbody at the end of her long fall.

Both women were spent but far from done. They made their way back to the ring to resume their war. They came at each other fiercely. Kellyanne caught Evie's leg as she tried a kick and spun her around. She tried a rolling forearm smash but Evie ducked it. Evie landed a roundhouse kick to the side of Kellyanne's face followed by a superkick to her jaw. Kellyanne would not go down staggering about. Evie delivered another roundhouse kick -- with the impact of the blow sounding like the crack of a whip. Kellyanne still won't go down so Evie struck her with a superkick.

Kellyanne stayed afoot lunging back at Evie who planted her with a uranage backbreaker. Evie charged Kellyanne in the corner and struck her with the Yakuza kick. She proceeded to hit a second with a bit of a spin to it for more impact. She planned to go for a third but Kellyanne cut her off, plowing Evie through the table in the corner with another cannonball. Both managed to their feet but Evie was worse for wear, the back of her head smashed hard through the table moments earlier. Kellyanne pulled a garbage can out from under the ring and tossed it into the squared circle.

Evie surprised Kellyanne with a shot to the face from the lid. The enraged Evie didn't stop with one, striking Kellyanne with repeated shots until she fell to her knees. Evie placed the can over Kellyanne's head and laid her on the canvas before ascending to the top rope. She came crashing down with Coup-de-Evie making a huge dent in the can as her feet smashed Kellyanne's chest. Kellyanne was down for the count. But so was Evie who was just as bruised and battered. Using the ropes for support Evie was just able to get to her feet before Edwin counted ten.

Edwin checked on Evie after she slumped back down against the ropes clearly shaken. Once she came to it he helped her to her feet and raised her hand. She climbed to the second rope and blew kisses to the crowd. Before departing she slapped some hands and took a bow. On the night of December 2nd 2016, Evie went to Hell and back to win not only a battle but a war. This would be the first of her final matches as Evie with the next chapter of her journey soon to begin.
