On Tuesday Night March 22, 2022, Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo -- unofficially collectively known as Team Kick-Sleep -- will face Kay Lee Ray and Io Shirai in the finals of the 2022 Women's Dusty Classic Tournament. The winning team will face NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne for the titles; date and event to be announced. There is no warmup match on the March 15, 2022 WWE NXT at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida for Dakota and Wendy, however they are hanging out backstage. Wendy is enjoying an orange slurpee from Wherever.

Dakota may look ready for the match dressed like a badass leather clad femme fatale, however she has doubts they can win against Shirai and KLR because their success so-far has come quickly. "We can do it," Wendy encourages. She puts her arm around Dakota, giving her a gentle squeeze. Dakota peps up, smiling fondly as she recalls she won the Dusty Cup last year. Wendy is glad to see Dakota encouraged, however this sweet little moment between partners is crashed.

Toxic Attraction burst into their conversation, furiously hunting down Cora Jade who "borrowed" their titles. Apparently if something happens to their gold something happens to you. Gigi, as one might expect, is first to two cents Dakota and Wendy about not thanking Toxic Attraction for the assist last week. Dakota shows fire, standing up to the mean girl trio. "You guys didn't have to injure Raquel like that, alright. We had the match won. We did."

Jacy snipes back that a simple thank you would be nice since they did all the work for them. Wendy takes offense to that remark, standing in agreement with her partner. "You heard my partner. She said we didn't need your help, so why did you do it?" Mandy shies away from admitting they find Dakota and Wendy a lesser threat, insisting they did what they did just because they can.

Mandy tells Dakota and Wendy to get the job done next week if they want a shot at Gigi and Jacy. After that she instructs Gigi and Jacy: Whoever of their trio finds Cora first should leave some for the others. Gigi and Jacy respond "Done" in ho-hum unison. After Toxic Attraction is gone, Wendy remarks they're hot but kind of weird. Dakota agrees they're so weird. They bond a bit mimicking Gigi and Jacy saying "Done."

The tandem of Kay Lee Ray and Io Shirai will be a chaotic challenge, however little about this tournament has been easy for Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo. Yet, they have swiftly jelled and overcome all the obstacles together as a team. The solidarity they showed during the confrontation with Toxic Attraction proves even outside the ring they are there to support each other. Hard work can pay off, dreams can come true. Smash rooms don't last, but Kick-Sleep Ladies do.
