Stand & Deliver is just a few days away and the Women's Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne of Toxic Attraction don't have opponents. Dakota Kai is searching for her new best friend Wendy Choo. But instead of Wendy, a concerned Dakota finds her belongings and no sight of her friend. You aren't alone if you dreaded for a bit that our Captain gave into her bad old habits and had something to do with this. Thankfully, Dakota did not. Sigh of relief.

Toxic Attraction took credit for Wendy's disappearance. Mandy Rose blamed her fatal four-way championship defense at Stand & Deliver predicament on Dakota and Wendy. She pointed out the interference of Gigi and Jacy helped them defeat Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade, practically handing them a victory in the Dusty Cup Finals. Mandy chides that in return Dakota and Wendy failed Toxic Attraction by not defeating Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray in the finals last week.

Gigi boasts that there are no tag teams left to challenge them. Mandy declares Toxic Attraction will walk in-and-out of Stand & Deliver with all the gold. Dakota hits the ring with a vengeance ready to cut herself some Toxic. She goes for the kill attacking Mandy, however Gigi and Jacy gang up on her with Mandy soon joining in. Dakota's ally turned archrival Raquel Gonzalez hits the ring to make the surprising save.

Raquel and Dakota successfully clear Toxic Attraction from the ring. Although Dakota had buried her past with Raquel the sight of her -- coming to her rescue no less -- has her frantic. She fights off those pesky voices and pulls Raquel into a genuine embrace. Toxic Attraction are seething as the crowd encourages the reunion. Dakota and Raquel pick up the tag team titles that Gigi and Jacy forgot to grab. They hold them up making their intentions clear. Kaio-Kicks and Chigona Bombs united. That's what Toxic A hates!

Dakota is in a frantic mood later in the evening due to the sudden reunion. Raquel calms her down, rallying her that they will destroy Gigi and Jacy and get back their titles. Gigi and Jacy claimed they beat everyone, however they never defeated the inaugural champions. Now those inaugural champions will challenge them for the NXT Women's Tag Team Titles on the NXT Stand & Deliver 2022 Kickoff Show.

Raquel has a score to settle with Gigi and Jacy for attacking her during the Dusty Cup. Even though they were teammates for WarGames, Gigi and Jacy always looked down on and disrespected Dakota. Kai seeks to avenge Wendy and teach her former teammates a lesson in respect. Dakota and Raquel once carried on the legacy of the NXT women's division their predecessors built. A legacy some feel Toxic Attraction have polluted. At Stand & Deliver, Dakota and Raquel reunite to help claim it back for the next generation of women.
