Those words were uttered in vignettes by a hooded lady burying items from her past at a graveyard in the weeks leading up to NXT Halloween Havoc 2021 on October 26, 2021. The lady would reveal herself to be Dakota Kai. Our Captain would return to a very different NXT at Halloween Havoc costing Raquel Gonzalez the NXT Women's Championship to Toxic Attraction's Mandy Rose with a shovel whack to the back. There was a haunting look in her eyes. Something was there yet wasn't. From seething hate to a blank, lost stare.

The NXT audience was excited to see Dakota Kai back home. Instead of jeering Kai for her actions, they clapped and chanted Welcome Back. Most chose to continue to side with her instead of Raquel. She had more than earned their love, appreciation and respect over the years.
