Vengeance had consumed both Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez. On the November 9, 2021 episode of NXT, Raquel called out Dakota looking to maul her for costing her the NXT Women's Championship. Laughing maniacally, Dakota came out and told Raquel it felt so good to hit her with the shovel at NXT Halloween Havoc and watch her lie motionless. There was noticeable eye twitching from Dakota and shakiness in her voice.

Cora Jade attacked Dakota from behind, looking for vengeance of her own. The prior week Kai had attacked Cora after their match yet ultimately spared her from a table smash. Cora had chosen to forget about the fact Dakota showed her some mercy. As the referee squad separated them, Kai screamed like a banshee... and reached her hand out to Cora instead of fighting back.

Raquel stormed over to attack Dakota who dashed off flashing a manic smile at her former ally. It's clear the feud between Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez is far from over. They aren't alone as Cora Jade has chosen to enter their game of vengeance.
