The Girl With the Shiniest Wizard faced Canadian Nicole Matthews in Nixon's second Shimmer match. Nicole insisted she wanted to be a role model for the younger stars of Shimmer including Newell. Nicole was sincerely quite insincere. Matthews tried to lure Nixon in for a handshake to start. Nixon made the mistake of giving in, getting blindsided by a lariat instead of a handshake. But Nixon quickly fired back taking Nicole down with a running huracarrana. Nixon missed a splash in the corner and got struck by Nicole's rolling elbow strike.

Nicole choked Nixon with her foot and slammed her head to the canvas. She continued to work Nixon's back over with some of her vast submission arsenal before breaking to deliver a standing banzai drop. A few knife edged chops sunk pain into Nixon's chest. Nicole resorted to more choking before delivering a snap suplex. Nicole struck Nixon with three kicks to the chest but missed the fourth. Nixon fired back with a succession of kicks to the leg followed by an enziguri. Nixon flew off the top looking for a crossbody that Nicole cut off with a dropkick.

Matthews set Nixon on the top rope for a superplex but Nixon pushed her away. Nixon grounded Nicole face first to the canvas with a leg trip. Nicole got struck down with the Shiniest Wizard but kicked out of the pinfall attempt. Nixon landed a crack-of-a-whip headbutt to ground Nicole after the Canadian got in some offense. Nicole countered the Welsh Destroyer with a crab. Nixon broke free kicking Nicole off. But Nicole grabbed Nixon as she charged her, planting her to the canvas with the Vancouver Maneuver to score the pinfall victory.
