It was a double header for Nixon Newell. She would compete at both the day and night events Pro-Wrestling: EVE was holding on February 18th 2017 at the Resistance Gallery in London. During the day event she would team up with Emi Sakura and her evening opponent Erin Angel against Meiko Satomura, Nina Samuels and Shanna. This trios match was action packed from start to finish. Nixon had a lengthy exchange with Shanna in the early going.

The crowd rallied Nixon by singing her theme music C'est La Vie, leading her to take control with a running huracarrana. Nixon and Shanna reached a stalemate after trading huracarranas back and forth. They decided to tag out, bringing Japanese legends Satomura and Sakura into the match. Nixon watched on from her team's corner in awe of these two legends. As she took control, Sakura invited Angel and Newell in to have a photo op moment with Satomura.

Satomura did not like being framed as a trophy even if just briefly, taking charge for her team after Newell and Angel returned to the apron. When Nixon tagged back into the match she got a chance to wrestle Satomura. Initially Nixon got the better of her, landing two running forearm strikes on her in the corner. She followed with a standing knee strike to Meiko's jaw and missile dropkick from the top rope. But Satomura took control after Nixon's failed pin attempt, smashing her across the neck with her famous cartwheel knee drop.

All six competitors would enter the ring with Sakura, Newell and Angel coming out on the better end of a triple suplex tussle. Chaos ensued as all six women hit offense on each other until it was just Sakura on her feet over Samuels.

Sakura climbed to the top rope and landed a moonsault on Samuels to score the pinfall victory for her team while Nixon prevented Satomura from making the save. I doubt that would be highlighted on The.Nina.Samuels...SHOW! Hey, I tried to do it properly. Anyway, Sakura celebrated with Nixon and Angel who each showed their veteran partner respect. Before she took her leave, Nixon borrowed a beer from a fan to take a swig.
