Nixon had progressed to the semi final of the Natural Progression Series IV that would determine the first ever Progress Women's Champion. Her opponent would be someone who had tormented her verbally since her Progress debut in the form of The Fashionista Jinny. Nixon made her energetic and interactive entrance to C'est La Vie much to the delight of the crowd. Fans showed their respect for Nixon throwing streamers in the ring. Jinny responded her disgust by attacking Nixon during her introduction with a running huracarrana.

The bell rung for the start as Jinny unloaded a furious array of punches on the grounded Nixon followed by a springboard armdrag that sent her to the floor. Jinny continued her assault with a tope between the ropes. She didn't stop, throwing Nixon into the ring post and apron numerous times before rolling her back in. Jinny took a moment to pose giving Nixon a chance to regroup and land two topes of her own on The Fashionista. Nixon followed up with a headbutt before tossing Jinny back in where she landed a crossbody from the top rope.

Nixon attempted the Shiniest Wizard but Jinny caught her leg and swept her to the mat. Jinny clobbered and choked Nixon for a bit. She upped her nastiness slapping Nixon and berating her. That just pissed Nixon off. The Girl With the Shiniest Wizard fired back with some expletives and forearms. The last one was so hard it made Nixon flail. Jinny tried to take control back but Nixon caught her, landing a bridging fallaway slam for a two count. Nixon went for the Welsh Destroyer but Jinny pushed her away and waffled her head with a kick.

Jinny connected with a knee strike in the corner. She charged intending a second but Nixon cut her off with a chokeslam. Nixon ascended to the top and delivered a moonsault, however Jinny moved away. The Fashionista slapped the hell out of Nixon twice followed by a big boot. That was the beginning of the end as far as she was concerned. Jinny proceeded to canvas Nixon with The Rainmaker and covered her for the win but to her shock, Newell defiantly kicked out at one.

Nixon's face was covered with intensity and anger to match the fight in her heart. She unleashed hell on Jinny in the corner, stomping a mudhole in her and walking it dry. Nixon took a moment to collect herself giving Jinny a chance to take back control. Looking to end things for certain this time, she placed Nixon in the ropes and called her Welsh scum before drilling her head first to the canvas with The Makeover. But once again Nixon kicked out of the pin attempt.

Unfortunately, the kick out took the last of bit of fight Nixon had in her. Jinny sauntered over and picked Nixon up, planting her to the canvas with the Destroyer, rubbing salt on the wound and scoring the pinfall victory. The crowd showered Nixon with love and support as she made her way out of the ring. She stopped at the entrance gate to take a bow. This would be her last Progress appearance until June 2018 when she would return with her new bestie to try and get some payback on Jinny.
