March 17th 2023. T-Mobile Center. Kansas City, Missouri. SmackDown. There will be a fatal four-way tag team showcase at WrestleMania 39. The first qualifying match pit Tegan Nox & Emma against Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez. Liv was Nox's tag team partner at the end of 2022, however quietly abandoned their partnership soon after to befriend Raquel. What irks me about Morgan's abandonment is that Nox made her WWE return coming immediately to Morgan's side against Damage CTRL. Shiny & Sparkles meant nothing to Olivia.

This qualifier was Tegan's opportunity to have a match at WrestleMania 39. Maybe her only path there. Emma would be her tag team partner in this effort. Did Natayla move on to another partner already? Where's Nox's fellow Lady Wizardball Shotzi?

Raquel and Tegan started the match for their respective teams. There's no love lost between these two going back to their days in NXT. Raquel tried to overpower Nox who slipped off a shoulderbreaker and slapped the seven hells out of Big Mami Cool. Raquel laughed if off. Tegan had to shake off the impact of the slap. Raquel lifted Nox up and tossed her back first to the turnbuckles. Morgan grinned. Traitor! Liv tagged in and Nox received assisted splashes from both her opponents.

Morgan struck Nox with a basement enzuigiri for two on a cover. Nox reversed an Irish whip with an uppercut. Nasty PK to Morgan's chest, knocking the wind out of her. Nox swung a series of blows to the canvassed Morgan. Tegan proceeded to smash Morgan's face into the top turnbuckle, followed by a charging uppercut. Emma tagged in. Nox kept Liv in the corner while Emma rolled into position. Emmamite Sandwich from Emma, followed by a cannonball from Nox. A textbook butterfly suplex was delivered to Morgan before Emma tagged Nox back in.

Tegan dropped Morgan with a gourdbuster. Liv got to her knees. Nox taunted her with a couple feint swats and a kick. A showcase of that No More Mr. Nice Guy attitude she had previously stated she brought with her for her WWE return. Anyone else think Tegan is taking this scuffle with Liv a bit personal considering how Morgan repaid her kindness? I wouldn't blame Tegan if she is. Just saying. Back to the action. Morgan sadistically laughed, her twisted mind relishing Nox's aggression against her.

Nox had enough, lifting Morgan up for a suplex. Liv countered with a backstabber, which describes what I think of Olivia. Tags were made. Raquel pounced through Emma, setting up the Aussie for the corkscrew splash off the second rope. Nox made the save for her team on the pin attempt, giving them one last gasp of hope. Seconds later, Nox got sent to the floor courtesy of a Liv codebreaker. Emma got a dust of offense in before the end was nigh. Morgan tagged in. Tejana Bomb. ObLIVion. Liv pinned Emma. Raquel and Liv qualified for WrestleMania.
