March 11th 2020. NXT was hosted by the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Flordia due to Full Sail Live being unavailable that evening. Tegan Nox hoped to rebound from the steel cage match loss to her former friend Dakota Kai the previous week. This would be a match where the winner qualified for the NXT Women's Championship #1 Contender Ladder Match scheduled for NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay on April 4th 2020. A victory here would come with the bonus of doing something Dakota Kai couldn't accomplish in her qualifying match earlier in the evening.

Nox's opponent was "The Virtuosa " Deonna Purrazzo, a wrestling genius whom a couple months prior went from being one of the most popular wrestlers on the brand to a bitter villainess bent on winning by any means necessary. Nox had the crowd behind her but that wasn't enough to stop Deonna from snatching control out of an early chokeslam attempt. Nox would fight back, hitting a charging uppercut in the corner followed by tripping Deonna slump against the turnbuckles. Tegan went for the Wild Boar cannonball but Purrazzo got her knees up to block it.

Deonna's comeback was met with a quick end courtesy of The Shiniest Wizard giving Nox the pinfall victory. In a post show WWE Digital Exclusive, Nox not only took pleasure in qualifying for the ladder match, she relished accomplishing a feet Dakota Kai couldn't. On this evening, Tegan Nox won not once but twice.
